There is no question that Vermont is one of the most picturesque places for fall foliage. The cozy and stunning city of Manchester is one of my favorites. Best place to stay – that would be Equinox Golf Resort & Spa.

Checking into this quaint resort and seeing the beautiful grounds was everything I expected, and I typically have high expectations.

Surrounded by the color changing trees of yellows and reds, the interior was just as impressive. It felt like a warm hug. I often found myself getting the most delicious cocktail at the bar and parking my toosh in front of the fireplace with a good book. Some evenings also had live music in the bar which was so much fun! Outside you’ll find a large cozy firepit with lots of seating.

The spa – what’s a great trip without a little spa service? The spa offers up classic massage and other services to really put your relaxation over the edge. It is shortly after these moments that you start looking up homes/where to live in Vermont.

I didn’t specifically do anything on this trip as it was for pure relaxation. I had a rental car and did some random “get lost” driving to view the incredible fall foliage, something we don’t get in Texas, but the Equinox Resort was everything I wanted and more. The resort is pet friendly, the restaurant was delicious and staff and cleanliness was superb.
