Community leaders, Uptown Dallas Inc., helped SPENGA, Uptown’s newest fitness studio, celebrate with a grand opening ceremony on Monday, March 22nd.

SPENGA is the first studio of its kind to put equal focus on Cardio-Strength-Flexibility all in one 60-minute workout and it has opened in the heart of the district with more than 5000 square feet at 3232 McKinney Ave Suite 150, Dallas, TX 75204.

The grand opening ceremony featured a welcome from the new SPENGA owners, Jinja and Terrence Martin and continued with Senior VP of Real Estate for Gaedeke Group Elliot Prieur, Uptown Dallas Inc. Executive Director Kathy Stewart, and City of Dallas District 14 Councilmember David Blewett.

It included goody bags and offerings from San Martin Bakery, Uptown Dallas Inc., Primo’s and Pressed Juicery.

The ceremony closed with a flag cutting and tours of the new studio.

During the construction of the new facility, SPENGA established themselves in the neighborhood through a series of yoga classes in partnership with Uptown Dallas Inc. in September of 2020. SPENGA has already secured more than 200 “Founding Members”/memberships.
